Cheap Romanian land
Anyone thinking about starting a growing enterprise in Europe take note. With average prices of €2,000 hectare Romania has the cheapest arable land on the market.
Figures just out by the Agra Europe press bureau show a big gap to the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where a hectare of land costs an average of €5,000-hectare. Prices rise even further in Serbia and the Ukraine – €7,000-€8,000-hectare.
